David M. Austin
David M. Austin is a civil litigator with several years of practical experience in all phases of litigation and a wide variety of subject areas, including business litigation, real property litigation, contract and business disputes, construction, construction defect matters, employment disputes, wrongful termination actions, homeowners association disputes, intellectual property and trade secrets matters, and complex litigation. Mr. Austin’s experience includes trying numerous matters both in civil court and private arbitrations and has prosecuted several of these matters on appeal. Since affiliating with William H. Parish, P.C., he has continued his emphasis on and participation in litigation of civil cases involving complex business, commercial, construction, and real estate issues.
Mr. Austin graduated with honors from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1998 with a degree in Japanese. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California Davis in 2001. Mr. Austin is a past editor of Chapter 5 (Injury to Property) of the California Attorney’s Guide to Damages and a former articles editor for the Real Property Journal published by the Real Estate Section of the California State Bar. Mr. Austin currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Real Estate Section of Alameda County Bar Association and in that capacity is responsible for originating and organizing presentations on current and ongoing topics in real estate law for the continuing education of the bar and interested members of the general public.
